Wagyu is a bovine breed originating from Kobe, Japan. It is also known as Japanese Black. The name comes from the kanji (wa, meaning “harmony” but historically closely linked to Japan) and (ushi or gyu, cow/cattle/beef). The meaning is, quite simply, “Japanese cow.” Its meat is highly prized for its flavor, tenderness, and juiciness, and is used in high-end “gourmet” dishes. Wagyu cuts are identified by their intense marbling—the infiltration of fat within the muscle fibers—which provides its unique flavor attributes when cooked. Within one of the most beautiful natural areas of Extremadura, surrounded by reservoirs and pastures (dehesas), this meat project has forged the Iberian Wagyu variety. Iberian Wagyu is the result of crossbreeding the Japanese breed with native Iberian breeds and raising them in extensive farming. Through their website, you can not only learn about this breed and its meat but also purchase various products made from it.

Four Extremadura’s SMEs, collaborating through a Temporary Union of Companies and under the BERS Consultam brand, have competed and achieved homologation in a state tender of the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness and the School of Industrial Organization (EOI) endowed with 4 , € 5 million, where the largest national and international consultancies and technology centers competed. The UTE Extremadura is composed of the companies Solucionex, Elaborarte, Bittacora and RC & Media, two companies of Cáceres and two of Badajoz, which have found in cooperation a way to grow and reach other markets

The 15 selected companies, among which Deloitte, Idom, Indra, Everis, Kpmg, Tecnalia, Ctic, Ernst & Young or Zabala, together with the Extremadura BERS Consulteam, must offer to the industries a service of technological diagnosis and design of their transformation plan digital that involves such specialized areas as Big Data, Metrics and analytics, Wearables, Sensorization and monitoring, 3D printing, Robotics, Augmented and virtual reality, Cybersecurity, Internet of things, Cloud storage and development, Mobile apps, Social networks or Collaborative platforms

To this tender, where very high levels of technical, professional and economic solvency were required, almost 50 companies, national and international, have been submitted, and it is worth mentioning that such important brands in technology consulting as IBM, PriceWaterHouseCoopers, Accenture, Ibermatica, Izertis, Auren o Cadtech among others, have been left out of the selection, which reaffirms the good technical project and equipment presented by BERS Consulteam, thanks to the training and experience of the 4 companies in the last 20 years of service in the sector

BERS Consultam already has a team of 10 nationally approved senior consultants, another 13 expert collaborators in specialized areas that will provide training and technical advice, and the administrative and structural support team offered by the different departments of the 4 member companies of the UTE

This first performance of BERS Consulteam, framed in the Active Industry 4.0 Program. of the Ministry and the EOI, also has a regional service component since it has been co-financed by the autonomous communities and their regional governments, including the Junta de Extremadura, which will subsidize 80% of the investment to the 12 industries in Extremadura that manage to be beneficiaries, to which the Extremadura consultancy will also be able to help them in their digital transformation processes towards a connected industry

The union of companies wants to turn their temporary cooperation into permanent and solid structure, investing in human, material and financial resources to position BERS Consultam as a great reference in the sector of digital transformation and industry 4.0 or connected, not only looking at the national market with the impulse of this state homologation, but also to the European and South American markets in the medium and long term.

Ascent of CD Badajoz

A few months ago, we received an order from RC&Media to create an advertising campaign for the CD BADAJOZ, well known in Argentina, because it was owned by Marcelo Tinelli, the now-known presenter and producer of Late Nights albicelestes.

The briefing was intended to thank the fan for their support and in the same way to apologize for previous years where the promotion elimination had been a sporting failure.

As a result, a request to the amateur, to forget the past, to forget the numbers, to forget the logic …

When sports teams play it, you just have to think with your heart.

The eliminatory ones happened and in all the graphs we unite the rational part of a person with his emotional part, the one that takes the shirt of the CD Badajoz team.

For the third and last, it was thought to go a step further: Transmit that this match is won with the heart.

Two classics were chosen from the stands of the Nuevo Vivero, which symbolize 100% the message we wanted to convey.

The campaign has been very popular and we have received congratulations, but the match will be lost. Age and health problems will prevent both from going to the stands. One more reason to put all the heart in the most important party of the year for the city of Palencia.

Sport has wonderful values, and is able to achieve empathy with audiences, customers and consumers.

Nothing better than appealing to the feelings, to the heart, to the entrails of the people, in order to achieve the communication objectives.

In this article, we will explore two points (of many) that we must take into account to improve the outcome of our website immediately, simply and without much investment.

One: be specific
When you start in business, the temptation to have “everyone” as customers is simply too big.

After a while, we are realizing that there is a certain group of clients with whom we understand ourselves better, with whom we can work better, with those who “have more wave” or simply those we can help better.

This segmentation can occur through several topics (eg: pay better, pay on time, are more receptive to my advice, have a greater return on investment with my product or service …) and makes us “more useful” for a certain client profile .

Exercise: Choose the ¿five? better clients, with whom you like to work the most and describe their type and characteristics (ex: they are accounting studies of more than ten employees, they are car agencies … whatever). Identify your topics of interest, how they communicate, what they like.

Go through your website and ask yourself: is it aimed at this type of client? Do you talk about those things that interest you? Does it show relevant images? … Do I present the benefits of working with me properly? … Is not it time to review my contents?

Two: make things easier in your web design
Your website is usually the first contact experience that a customer will have with our company. Yes, that’s how significant it is.

It is important that by “entering” it, the user and potential client know immediately what to do to find what they are looking for, where to go and how to manage without help.

But what many web designs fail today is this: What happens when I find what I’m looking for? Well … I suppose I should call by phone, go to the commercial place … etc.

Let’s never leave “The Great Answer” that we seek at random and / or goodwill.

It is vital that the entire site, and especially next to each product or service, the user find a “call to action” (“Call to Action“) that is clear, simple and makes it easier to understand what to do next : “Click here for more information”, “I want to know more”, “Contact us” … or the classic one: “Call yaaa!” 🙂

That “CTA” will take you to the contact website, a form or any other section of our site that serves as a means of contacting us.

Exercise: check if there are “calls to action” in your web design. If not, think about the “path” your client will follow when navigating and select the places where you think it will have the most impact. Do not forget to post a message that “call the action” and a link to your contact page.

Conclusion:
As I think we all know at this point in our lives, there are no magic solutions at all. Anyway, we are also clear that, with the adoption of certain behaviors already proven by others previously, we have more possibilities to facilitate our success.

Thanks for reading up to here and we hope that these tips are useful to improve your company’s website.

Until next time.

In this article, we will learn about the advantages of e-Learning, also known as “Virtual Classroom” to our company when it comes to training our HR, our sales force or transmitting knowledge to those who will be responsible for selling and / or install our products, avoiding the need to organize and solve transfers that consume time and money.

What is a virtual classroom”?

According to Wikipedia:

The e-learning platform, virtual classroom or Learning Management System (LMS) is a virtual learning space aimed at facilitating the distance training experience, both for companies and for educational institutions.
That is to say: an elearning is a website, where each student enters and finds different courses in which he can sign up and then follow at his own pace, from home, without having to travel to a training center or to the company.

How does it work?

The courses that are taught consist of lessons organized within units, just as in “traditional” education.
Each of these lessons can contain texts, explanatory videos, diagrams, graphs and everything we deem necessary to transmit knowledge effectively.
Usually, at the end of each unit and at the end of each course, an exam is included to verify the knowledge acquired. These are usually “multiple-choice”, which enables the virtual classroom system itself to review the exam and grant the corresponding grade.
Once the exam is approved, you can move on to the following units and continue advancing with the course.
In the end, the system can grant an online certificate, which the student can download, print and, if desired, frame;)

What if the students have doubts?

During the entire course of study, each study group has one or several tutors assigned to clarify the doubts, although students are encouraged to raise these doubts in the Discussion Forums that are enabled for this purpose, so that knowledge is shared as widely as possible.
The students are never alone: they have their tutors and their classmates to clarify their doubts and move forward.

How does my company benefit?

In addition to the elimination of the need to physically move, which undoubtedly saves time and money, some of the main advantages are the following:

  • The student can acquire knowledge at his own pace, when it suits him best. It can be, for example, on Friday afternoons or on Saturday mornings, before closing the week, every day early, in the morning … it is not necessary to adjust to any schedule.
  • By completing the course, students have direct access and keep their notes and data, so you can go back to them at any time. You can never forget anything. It is good practice, too, that once the course is finished, the Forums are also open so that the students continue to be nourished by subsequent debates.
  • Being in electronic format, the information is easily updatable, expandable and improvable. We can even place an expiration date in each course, making sure that once the limit is reached, an alarm is triggered to the author of the course, warning him to review it.
  • Both during and after the completion of the courses, digital communication channels are opened between the different HR, distributors, installers and / or sellers of our product, making sure we have agile communication tools, according to today’s times.
  • The same system can also have databases of files, documents, plans, explanations of processes, etc., which will be neatly arranged and easily found through an internal search engine.
  • This system can also have an internal communication blog, which ensures that all information reaches HR, distributors, suppliers and opinion makers in a simple, economical and efficient way.

My company is a SME, does something like that work for me?

This type of virtual classroom is especially useful for companies or institutions that:

  • Have a physical presence in several geographical points.
  • Count on distributors in several cities, provinces and / or countries.
  • They need to train installers or technical services for their products.
  • They must constantly update / improve processes and communicate them to their HR or different stakeholders.
  • They benefit from having a “library” of shared knowledge that allows them to access them quickly and efficiently.

No matter the size of the company, what must always be weighed is the benefit that the adoption of any new process brings and assess whether the change is worthwhile.

Aula virtual: ¿En qué ayuda el elearning a mi empresa?

In summary:

When some of the conditions described above are met, it is extremely important for companies to have the capacity to train their members, both internal and external, about their processes, techniques, etc. in a fast, efficient and economic way.

This will avoid losses of time, travel and will also open direct and instantaneous communication channels between the individuals that compose it, accelerating daily communication and making our response capacity more efficient to the always challenging market of today.
